Message from:            National President       Marie D. Lewis

Dear Friends:

It is my pleasure to extend greetings to you as National President of Chums Incorporated.  Chums Inc. is a non-profit organization in which women meet in friendship to serve their communities.

Our organization consists of 38 Chapters, located from coast to coast with a membership in excess of 700 beautiful, successful, dynamic, talented, dedicated and caring women.  Throughout the years they have devoted several hours and thousands of dollars in programs that enhance the quality of life in their communities.

My vision for our organization is that we continue to build strong, caring relationships within our chapters and that we continue to support our National theme: "Listen to the Children".  By addressing the needs of young people in our various communities, we can help them to realize their dreams and reach their full potential.

I am proud to be a part of this wonderful organization and to continue the legacy of our founders, Mary Barnes, Joyce Tate Brown and Theodora Jackson Cora, and the Presidents that have served this organization in the past (members of our Yellow Rose Council).  This is an awesome challenge, but one I accept fully.  I look forward to a future of Sharing, Caring and Serving with Love.
